The air intelligence unit of Customs nabbed two Maldivian nationals on Sunday at the Kochi airport on charge of attempting to transport by aircraft five cartons of medicines that are estimated to be priced between ₹3 lakh and ₹5 lakh to their country without the requisite documentation and import/export licence. A further probe will be carried out regarding the confiscated consignment to ascertain whether there were any banned or regulated items in it, it is learnt.
